I recently had the amazing opportunity to train with Jackie at The Beauty Shed & Academy, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations from start to finish. Before the training even began, Jackie performed her incredible Beyond The Blade Dermaplaning Facial on me so I could fully experience the masterclass I had purchased alongside my training day. It was honestly one of the most relaxing and soothing treatments I’ve ever had. Jackie explained every step thoroughly and in great detail throughout the facial, which made the learning experience even more valuable. Jackie is exceptionally professional at what she does and so passionate about sharing her knowledge. I was able to shadow her throughout the day, watching how she carries out her treatments with such care and expertise. When it came to working on my own clients, Jackie was incredibly supportive, patient, and encouraging. She helped calm my nerves and guided me with confidence every step of the way. The whole experience was absolutely worth the investment. Jackie is brilliant at what she does, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for high-quality treatments or professional training 🤍

I spent the day with Jax training in facials and chemical peels and it was nothing short of amazing. Her attention to detail is great, especially the kit she provided which means I can get started. I left feeling completely confident and with the knowledge in hand to succeed offering these treatments going forward. I know I’ve got her support even after my training day. I just wanted to say a proper thank you for the course. It was honestly so helpful from start to finish. You explain everything in a way that actually makes sense, and I really appreciated that you didn’t just talk at me, you actually showed me exactly how to do everything step by step. One of the best parts for me was working on real people instead of mannequin heads. It made such a difference and gave me a proper feel for what it’s actually like, which I don’t think you can get any other way as mannequins are so much different than real life! You’ve been so supportive the whole time as well, always there if I’ve needed help or had questions, which made me feel a lot more confident. I never felt stuck because you are always just a message away. You guided me through every step and genuinely made me feel like I could do this. I’ve come away with so much more confidence and actually believe in myself and my skills, which is something I struggle with a lot. I’d always liked the idea of doing beauty so I took the plunge and booked with Jackie for a 1:1 training day in classics and it’s the best thing I did! She went through every single thing in great detail, showed me tips and tricks to help build my client base up, offered continuous support and even now nearly 4 years on I know I can drop her a message and she’ll help me with advice. Today was a truly lovely and inspiring training day. I spent the day with the wonderful Jackie learning dermaplaning and a luxury basic facial, using the beautiful Lesimo professional skincare range, and it was such a rewarding experience. During the training, I carried out full dermaplaning treatments on two models, allowing me to practise my blade technique, skin stretching, pressure control, and safe removal of dead skin cells and fine, fair hair. This helped the skin appear instantly smoother, brighter, and more radiant. Each model also received a 20-minute hand and arm massage, which I performed while the LED light therapy was placed over the client’s face. This created a treatment that was not only results-driven but also deeply relaxing, combining advanced skin therapy with touch and relaxation techniques. The facial included a full professional skincare routine using Lesimo products, including cleansing, toning, targeted serums, moisturising, and SPF. These products left the skin beautifully hydrated, calm, and glowing, and really enhanced the final results of the treatment. It was amazing to see the transformation in the skin straight away — smoother texture, improved brightness, and a healthy, fresh glow. The training gave me valuable hands-on experience and helped build my confidence in both treatment delivery and client care. Thank you so much to Jackie for such a supportive, informative, and inspiring day. I’ve come away feeling motivated, confident, and excited to continue practising and perfecting these treatments ✨

Currently doing my Combination Individual & Volume Lash Extension here with Jackie. Jackie has been my Lash Tech for the last 4 years and honestly wouldn't go anywhere else for lashes or training. It is because of Jackie's knowledge and expertise and how she makes me feel leaving the salon I chose to take the step into training to be a lash tech. Training is 1:1 and full kit is received on the first day. Jackie is very informative and goes into a lot of detail on training day even down to finding you a model. Jackie is always on the end of the phone no matter what time of day to offer guidance, support or even just to ask simple question nothing is too much trouble. The salon is a very relaxing and charming place which makes it the perfect place to do all your case studies to help you pass your course. Would really recommend for anyone to take that leap with The Beauty Shed & Academy for all your beauty needs and training the girls are fabulous xx

I am currently doing my combined lash course with Jackie at The Beauty Shed & Academy. it is 1:1 and you receive your lash kit on the day. Jackie made me feel very relaxed and she's so supportive. Also allowing me to use the salon for my case studies. I feel like Jackie is always on hand if I have any questions. I've been doing my lash course at The Beauty Shed, it's an amazing experience, Jackie is amazing..she has so much patience with you and is so soo encouraging! Jackie will make sure you get to where you want to be and has so many other courses to offer. You get plenty of time to learn if it's needed and she also lets you do your case studies at the shed..
